“- [Instructor] Now most people who watch this course will likely be using a WebEx account to their company or organization. If you don't have access to WebEx however, you can sign up for a free WebEx account. To do this, navigate to webex.com. From here, in the upper right corner, I'm going to click on start for free. Now it says here you can sign up for free, it's quick, no credit card needed, no commitment. So you can go ahead and put that email address in there for your company. When I'm done I'll hit sign up, and it allows me to begin creating my free account. Now, in this course, I'm going to be using a premium account that I've set up for Laura Davis, an employee at Red30 Tech. Most of the stuff that's discussed in the course will be relevant to a free WebEx meetings account as well. If there are times in which a feature's premium, I'll try to point that out. Current examples of this are things like the ability to save recorded meetings in your account, to add an alternate host to your account, and customizing your personal meeting room URL. I recommend checking out the different plans to see which one works best for you. You can go to the WebEx site and look up the pricing comparisons, and here they'll show you the different levels that you can have. Right now for the COVID crisis, they actually have upgraded the free plan. So you can see here that you do get a ton through the free WebEx meetings plan. Here are some of the other plans. Which one you have will determine which features that you have access to. Now I also want to point out that I originally did create a free account for Laura Davis, and then upgraded it to a premium account. When I did this, it created a new account for me. And I'll show you what I mean here. I'll click sign in. WebEx meetings. And I'm going to enter in Laura's email address and password. And you can see here that when I enter this in, I have access to two different accounts. This bottom one is the URL for the free account that I signed up with for Laura. When I upgraded to a premium account, that's when my new account started. So this is just something to be aware of if you do sign up for a free account and then decide to upgrade that to a premium.
